We are celebrating Earth Day a couple of days early this year with a free community event. Please join us tomorrow, Saturday, April 20th, from 11am-2pm at the Teton County Fair Grounds !
For more info please go here: www.mountainrootseducation.org/earthday2024
Peruse booths hosted by local nonprofits and businesses to learn about what they are doing to prioritize caring for our planet and how you can help, participate in free activities and demonstrations, enjoy food from Captain Ron's Smokehouse and coffee from Wydaho Roasters Coffee House , take part in a mini-workshop on sprouts and microgreens, watch performances by young artists, and try to win some awesome raffle prizes. You can also sign up for local Earth Day service projects. Sign up for a service project and you'll get a free raffle ticket!
Please bring a reusable mug if you plan to get a coffee drink. Vibrant Initiatives' Jackson Hole Zero Waste Project will be on hand to help us minimize the impact of the event by providing reusable serving items, but bringing your own is a great habit to build. 😉
Lastly, if you would like to help out during the event, please sign up here (www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0E4EACAF2AA1FBC25-48680729-earth#/)
Please spread the word, and hope to see you there!

There are still limited In a Landscape: Classical Music in the Wild tickets available! The Teton Valley concert will be held on Wednesday, July 24 from 4:30-8:30pm at the beautiful Teton River Headwaters property in Victor, ID. This event has sold out every year, so get your tickets now to ensure your spot. A link to the ticket sales page is on our website (tetonlandtrust.org/in-a-landscape/)
We can’t wait to see you there! 💖
IN A LANDSCAPE is an outdoor concert series where America’s most stunning landscapes replace the traditional concert hall. Guests explore the surrounding environment while listening to the music of classical pianist, Hunter Noack, through wireless headphones, creating an immersive experience that fosters a connection with the music, nature, and with one another.
Guests can bring their own chairs, blankets, and picnics to enjoy during the concert. New this year, the Land Trust will be offering a bar selling beer, wine, cider, and non-alcoholic drinks, so you can leave the heavy coolers behind! A silent auction and plein air painters will also be at the site.

Got ours! Unfortunately "Hubby" said we can't go anymore 💔 Putting them for sale at below what we bought them for.
Hi folks, can I still get a refund to my tickets? Or does someone want to buy my tickets at a reduced price? Please message me let's negotiate price at a reduced price 👏 ❤️
Maximize Biodiversity
Biodiversity both aboveground and belowground is important. Aboveground biodiversity can look like diversification of plants, animals, or both. Belowground biodiversity can be increased through plant, animal, or soil amendments. Diversification can assist in breaking disease cycles, provide pollinator and wildlife habitat, and stimulate plant growth. Stay tuned for more information regarding each of the 4 Principles of Soil Health! You can also dig into these principles yourself through a quick Google search or by visiting the USDA website at www.farmers.gov/conservation/soil-health. We want to hear from you! Please let us know if you use any of these 4 principles and what impact you have seen on the ground. Write a comment here, call us at 208-354-8939, or reach out to stewardship@tetonlandtrust.org.
