Evening with the Cranes - September 10

Vezo-crane-danceJoin Teton Regional Land Trust, Friday September 10th for and evening with the Sandhill Cranes of Teton Valley. Special guest Rob Cavallaro, Regional Biologist for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game will discuss history and habitats of Sandhill Cranes.

We will begin at 5:30 at the Seniors Center in the Driggs City Hall for a presentation and move to viewing sites throughout the valley.

Dedication of Woods Creek Fen Outdoor Classroom - September 18

wcf_platformThe Teton Regional Land Trust invites you to join us for a dedication of the Woods Creek Fen Outdoor Classroom September 18th at 9 am.

There will be a dedication ceremony honoring longtime Valley icon Fred Mugler for his support to Teton Valley and the Woods Creek Fen Outdoor Classroom. As well as a dedication of the new viewing platform held in honor of Wray Landon.

A tour of the newly updated interpretive display will give attendees a chance to visit the Woods Creek Fen Outdoor Classroom.

Bird Tour - September 17

The Island Park Office of TRLT has agreed to assist the Bureau of Land Management by conducting volunteer bird surveys during the 2010 summer. BLM has identified three Priority Bird Areas in the region: Henry’s Lake, Shotgun Valley, and near the headwaters of the Warm River.  All birds observed or heard will be recorded.
