Chet Work Visits Washington D.C.

IMGP7524Last week, Teton Regional Land Trust Executive Director Chet Work travelled to Washington DC to meet with members of the Idaho congressional delegation.

Teton Regional Land Trust works closely with federal agencies as we help local landowners protect their lands throughout our service area.  Often we utilize federal grants and appropriations to help purchase conservation easements and complete restoration projects.

Chet spent time with the delegation thanking them for their consistent support of our work and requesting their assistance in maintaining funding for important programs like the Land and Water Conservation Fund, North American Wetlands Conservation Act and the Farm Bill.
